There are font settings for various system elements. One of my favorite OnyX features is the ability to change Dock settings. Tinker tool can customize your configuration and features. This i just one of a set of good utilities to have tinkerfool hand, and it is a very good one.

Apparently it was not. This just fixed an annoying issue I had after upgrading to Mavericks.
